The 17th traditional festival "Silk and Spices" is a colorful spectacular event designed to demonstrate the cultural heritage of the Great Silk Road.

There will be hundreds of people in national costumes, live Uzbek music, dancers, actors, acrobats, wrestlers, ethno-fashion shows, handicraft master classes and a large oriental bazaar where you can find unique handmade goods.

🎶 Performance of the folk-ethnographic ensemble "Boysun" in the framework of the festival "Boysun bahori" ("Boysun Spring"), which has been held since 2002.

 ☀ The international folklore festival "Boysun Bakhori" in year 2018 will be held on April 28-29 at the foot of the picturesque Baysun mountains (Surkhandarya region of Uzbekistan), where the original ancient customs and traditions were preserved in an original form.

The purpose of the festival is to collect, show and preserve the heritage of the past.

☀ In 2001 the Baysun District was listed as "Masterpiece of the Oral and Intangible Heritage of Humanity" by UNESCO.

The open folklore festival "Boysun Spring" where folk performers from Uzbekistan, Tajikistan and Kyrgyzstan take part, is included in the list of major cultural events of the region.
